The Art & Science of Slowing Down
THE ART & SCIENCE OF
SLOW WORK
A COMMUNAL WORKSHOP,
INTERACTIVE JOURNEY,
AND REJUVENATING EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
AND SPACE TO REFLECT, REST, AND RESTORE
Hosted by Dr. Angel Acosta
Slow work and gentle living are responses to the fast pace, extraction, and exhaustion of capitalism.
And is a crucial component of the Healing Centered Paradigm.
In this communal and interactive journey, we'll fill the gap between research that proves the value of slowing down and the practice of actually slowing down in your personal and professional life.
Participants will have space to process burnout and develop contemplative-based resilience in alignment with the neuroscience of mindfulness & compassion.
This three-hour workshop experience is an invitation to educators, consultants and anyone interested in transforming their relationships to work by slowing down.
Hyperspeed turns life into a blur.
Slow work is bold.
Slow work creates clear vision.
Slow work is a practice of presence.
